Welcome to Treasure Hunt ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our app.

Summary: Treasure Hunt is built with privacy in mind. We do not require account creation, we do not collect personal identifiers, and our app is 100% ad-free.

1. Information We Collect

A. User-Created Game Data (Firebase Firestore)

When a Game Master creates and posts a game online, the following data is stored on Google Cloud Firestore:

Game titles, clue texts, custom codes, and associated game settings.
Location Data (GPS Coordinates): Optional location coordinates tied to specific clues if the Game Master enables GPS mode.

Note: This data is identified solely by a randomly generated Game Code. It is not attached to any personal identifier, user account, email address, or permanent hardware device ID.

B. Analytics & Performance Data (Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics)

To help us maintain and improve app performance, we use Google Firebase services:

Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymous usage metrics (e.g., feature interactions, session duration, app launches) to help us understand how the app is used.
Firebase Crashlytics: Collects anonymized crash logs, device state info, and stack traces when the app encounters an error, allowing us to fix bugs quickly.

2. Information We DO NOT Collect

No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): We do not ask for names, email addresses, phone numbers, or social media accounts.
No Device Identifiers for Tracking: We do not track user behavior across other apps or websites, nor do we access Advertising IDs (IDFA/GAID).
No Contact Lists or Media Files: We do not access your device's contacts or photo gallery.

3. Advertisements

Treasure Hunt is completely ad-free. We do not integrate any third-party ad networks or display advertisements within the application.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited, non-personal data collected solely to:

Allow Players to download game clues from Cloud Firestore using a shared Game Code.
Enable GPS navigation features to point players toward hidden clues during active gameplay.
Diagnose technical bugs and optimize application reliability using crash reports.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Game data posted online is stored anonymously in Cloud Firestore using a randomly generated Game Code so players can access the hunt. Because we do not use accounts or store device identifiers, this data is not linked to your personal identity.

If you are a Game Master and wish to have a game deleted from our servers, you do not need an account to do so. Simply send an email request to our support team at support@yourdomain.com containing the specific Game Code you wish to remove. Upon receiving your request, we will manually delete the corresponding game data from Cloud Firestore within 3 to 5 business days.

Treasure Hunt does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). Because all game content is stored anonymously and no personal profile is required, our app is safe for family and group entertainment.
